The place is very nice and the food is simple, but quite tasty. Prices are reasonable and the breakfast menu has many options to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

Recently, I had the opportunity to have breakfast at Cocina 5Diez, and I must say that I loved the decoration and cozy atmosphere of the place. The attention to detail in the decor and ambiance created a pleasant experience from the moment I walked into the restaurant. However, when it comes to the food, I have to admit that it didn't impress me as much as I had expected. I decided to try the vegetable omelette, but unfortunately, it was slightly overcooked, almost a brownish color as it had a slight burnt flavor and a somewhat dry texture. While it wasn't a terrible experience, I definitely expected more in terms of the quality of preparation. I also ordered the Avocado Toast with a poached egg, but they served it to me with a hard-boiled egg instead of a soft one, as I had requested. This was a minor inconvenience as I had to return the dish and wait for it to be prepared correctly. However, I must highlight that the staff was friendly and quickly resolved the issue. As for the oatmeal, I have to admit that it didn't surprise me much. It had a fairly basic taste and didn't stand out with any additional ingredients that could make it special. It was simply a regular serving of oatmeal, without any distinctive touch. Overall, my experience at Cocina 5Diez was enjoyable thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the service of the staff was friendly. However, the quality of the food didn't meet my expectations. While I don't rule out the possibility of returning in the future, I would expect an improvement in the quality of the food for a more satisfying experience.

Breakfast that I got was amazing!! There Belgian waffle was the best I had in so long. French fries was on point along with the hash brown. Would of been 5 stars but the bacon came out cold and greasy like it’s been sitting for awhile. The wait was longer then normal May have been to short staffing. Overall service great, friendly, clean places including the bathroom, waitresses. I would come again!!

The service at Cocina 5Diez was excellent. I also appreciate the decent prices on everything in a world that gouges. Lattes are only $3. And are delicious. I would suggest sticking with breakfast items if you go for brunch. There's a cute flair to the atmosphere here. Including unique sets of salt and pepper shakers brought to each table. I think the menu changes often, at least the daily specials. We came for the Red velvet pancakes and lobster but they weren't available. Will have to try again :)

Delicious chicken & waffles and Benedict Eggs with smoked salmon. Also ceremonial Matcha and oat milk. Great service too.
